Speaking of Dim Sum, I love Dim Sum so much that I would wake up 6 something in the morning just for it.
Ipoh, which is famous for its variety of delicacies at almost every corner, has more than 3 Dim Sum restaurants.
My favourite, is the Ming Court Dim Sum Restaurant.
Be sure to go there early during weekends or public holidays, because finding a seat after 9am is difficult.

Prawn Dumpling. Love the prawns.

Prawn Rolls. Still crispy and warm while served.

My must-order. because I love eggtarts.

Peanut and Black Sesame Dessert. The Peanut one has no comparison towards the Black Sesame.
Most of the items are around RM 3-4. Although their portion is small compared to other Dim Sum Restaurant, the taste is definitely the best to my taste in Ipoh.

Pastamania serves a variety of pastas and pizzas.
I have yet to try their pizzas personally, but I can say for sure, you won’t be disappointed by their wide selection of pastas.

One of my favourites, Creamy Chicken, S$6.90. The cream sauce was addictive.

For Red Sauce lovers, Marinara Pasta, S$8.90. Delicious.

Mixed Berries Smoothies. Refreshing and cooling. but a bit too big. advisable to share it with friends, S$4.90.

Since the day I came to Singapore, I have heard from many, telling me the Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao is a must-try.
I was skeptical. I googled for food reviews on it to make sure I make my money worth.
10 out of 10 reviews I read from the Internet, convinced me that I have to make a trip to Crystal Jade one day.
I was so sure and excited.

Their Xiao Long Bao, no doubt, has to be on top of my ordering list.

Sze Chuan Soup Based La Mian. All that I could taste was chilli oil. Nothing else.

Herbal Soup Chicken La Mian. Too bland to my taste.
After this trip, it makes me think twice before taking in what I googled on food reviews.

Laksa is a well-known spicy noodle soup from Peranakan culture. There are two types of Laksa, which is the Curry Laksa and the Assam Laksa.
Curry Laksa is a coconut-based curry soup while Assam Laksa is a sour fish-based soup. Curry Laksa is mainly served in Singapore, especially the very famous, Katong Laksa.
Katong is an area in a Singapore. Katong Laksa serves noodles which are being cut into smaller pieces that can be eaten only using a spoon.
I have not personally gone to Katong to try their Katong Laksa. However, the version that I have tried in Queensway Shopping Centre is certainly not bad. It is very rich in coconut milk, some of us might find it ‘jelak’.
Given so many Curry Laksa that I have tried so far in Singapore, that was the best among all.

Some of the newspaper cuttings being posted up in front of the stall.

Only spoon is used, no chopsticks or fork is provided.
This uncle is definitely not one of the friendliest people I met. He actually said that he can charge me Copyrights fee for taking photos of him and his stall. At first, I thought he was just kidding, so I smiled. He gave me the straight look, and told me he is not joking with me and still insisted that he can charge me.
Each bowl of Katong Laksa costs S$3.00. One thing for sure is the prawns being served are fresh. Because I am very particular in the freshness of prawns being used in dishes. Very worth trying.
Located at the Ground Floor of Queensway Shopping Centre.

Anyone likes the idea of sitting down in a cafe with a nicely decorated ambience, sipping a cup of coffee or tea of your favourite choice, enjoying the environment and chatting with few of your closest friends?
*drools*
Yes. Thats the idea of spending a lovely Saturday afternoon for me.
or maybe..
a place for you to rest your tiring legs after long hours of shopping during the Great Singapore Sales?
Starbucks is the choice for me to stop by whenever i shop at Vivocity.
if i were to be lucky, i will get the chance to sit at those comfortable sofas
Coffee is definitely my choice of drink, but the number of different combinations of coffee in Starbucks usually gives me a headache.
so far, i have only sticked to trying the
Java Chip Frappuccino® Blended Coffee.
-Coffee, chocolate and chocolate chips blended with ice, topped with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. You can chew on the small bits of chocolate chips while drinking.
Ice Blended Caramel
-A decadent treat of coffee, milk and caramel blended with ice and topped with whipped cream and a swirl of caramel sauce. Some of you might find this a bit too sweet. Order this if you were to look for the instant sugar rush.
Iced Caffè Latte
-A smooth mix of milk and espresso poured over ice. Simple enough to give me a coffee fix.
Those who are crazy for chocolates, it is recommended to try
Ice Blended Chocolate Chips Cream
-Smooth, creamy combination of chocolate, blended with ice, topped with whipped cream. Extra chocolate chips are added as well.
It is always good to give yourself a treat once in a while. Enjoy the Starbucks Experience.
